Coastal Resilience Virtual Networking Session

In lieu of the in-person NROC meeting, NROC’s Coastal Hazards Resilience Committee will host a virtual networking session focused on coastal resilience on April 1st from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. The virtual format will provide members and partners with an opportunity to network and learn about current coastal resilience projects, data, policies, funding resources, and more from the New England region. Sharing may take the form of slides, pictures, demonstrations, discussion prompts or verbal updates. We anticipate time for Q&A and discussion. A detailed agenda and information for accessing the virtual session will be circulated in advance of the session and posted at www.northeastoceancouncil.org. Ocean Planning Committee Webinar

NROC’s Ocean Planning Committee will host a series of webinars in the place of the previously scheduled in-person ocean planning meeting. The first NROC Ocean Planning Committee webinar will be held on Thursday, April 2, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The April 2nd webinar will focus on an update on the activities of the federal interagency Ocean Policy Committee and on various topics related to offshore wind in the region. We anticipate time for Q&A and discussion. Participants need to register for this webinar via this link on NROC’s ocean planning website.
