Submerged Archeological and Cultural Resources

Overview

At the request of Tribes, states, and federal agency Ocean Planning Committee members, NROC established the Submerged Archaeological and Cultural Resources Workgroup. The intent of the Workgroup is to coordinate regional approaches to assessing archeological and cultural resources, identify information gaps, and to initiate projects that will improve the collective understanding and the use of information in management, decision making, and permitting.
