Project

Regional Wildlife Science Collaborative (RWSC)

Overview

The Regional Wildlife Science Collaborative (RWSC) is a voluntary forum for federal agencies, states, industry, and nonprofit organizations to work together and with the research community to conduct coordinated marine life and habitat research in U.S. Atlantic waters. RWSC is cohosted by NROC and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council on the Ocean (MARCO). To facilitate the coordination of research funding and access to research outputs and data, RWSC maintains several tools that all sectors contribute to, including a database of ongoing and planned research, a Research Planning Map, and a library of data management and storage recommendations.
