Community Resilience

Overview

NROC provides a regional forum for coastal managers and partners to advance community resilience by hosting ‘resilience exchanges’ to share tools, resources, case studies, and approaches for protecting coastal resources.

Priorities include:

Hosting workshops to share knowledge about latest tools and resources for responding to challenges associated with coastal storm surge, flooding, or sea level rise.
Convening partners to share information and improve understanding of emerging issues and approaches.
Convening roundtable discussions among coastal managers and partners to share updates about coastal resilience projects, strategies, planning, and funding opportunities.
