Inaugural Meeting of the Northeast Regional Planning Body

The first meeting of the newly appointed Northeast Regional Planning Body (RPB) was held November 19-20, 2012, in Portland, Maine. The Northeast RPB has the responsibility of developing an ocean management plan for New England. NROC will be an important resource and contributor to the plan. The Northeast RPB is composed of Federal, Tribal, State, and New England Fishery Management Council representatives with stakeholder input. A summary of the meeting is available on the RPB web page.
