Agenda and Registration for NROC Meeting on May 15, 2025

The agenda and registration are available for NROC’s next meeting on May 15, 2025, from 9am to 3pm, at the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Greenland, NH.  The meeting will include:

  • a demonstration of the new design for the Northeast Ocean Data Portal (to be released in June);
  • a summary of related efforts to improve the accessibility of datasets that are relied upon to inform government, private sector, and research decisions; and
  • updates and participant feedback on NROC Committee projects to identify regional seafloor mapping priorities, improve understanding of emerging technologies and related ocean planning issues, assess potentially submerged archaeological and cultural resources, and to advance the implementation of living shorelines to mitigate storm and flooding risk.

Advance registration is required to inform planning for in-person and virtual attendance.
